Eagle Integration

Your vault is for text. Eagle is for images.

Kind Obsidian plugins Language TypeScript License MIT ★ 10 stars ↓ 2,986 downloads updated Sep 2026

Paste an image into a note and it is uploaded to Eagle, your media manager, and rendered from a local cache. The vault stays small, the library stays searchable, and images keep working offline.

Paste or drag screenshots, clips, and photos into a note or a Canvas; they upload to Eagle and render from a cached thumbnail. The same image pasted twice is reused rather than uploaded again.

Folder mapping routes uploads to different Eagle folders by note location, naming templates control how files are named, and a visual search browses the whole library from inside Obsidian.

Cache files restore themselves on startup, and deleting an image in Eagle evicts its cached copy. Listed in the community plugin directory.
