Obsidian Vault Template
A home for your notes. A system for your thinking.
PARA organization, Zettelkasten thinking, and periodic planning, with shared rules for humans and AI agents. Download, open as a new vault, write Markdown.
Start with a working structure instead of someone else's personal notes. Twelve numbered roots give every note exactly one home: capture goes to Inbox, originals to Raw, interpretations to Literature Notes, self-contained ideas to Permanent Notes, and owned work to Projects and Areas.
Templater builds year, quarter, month, week, and day notes on demand, and Bases tables inside the period templates show what is due. Nested AGENTS.md files describe the same rules to AI agents that the guidelines describe to you, so an agent filing a note follows the same placement a person would.
It is a filing model, not an automatic pipeline. Nothing moves notes for you, and personal notes, credentials, and machine state are not included.
